Quran 23:74
Surah Al-Muminoon, Verse 74

وَإِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ لَا يُؤْمِنُونَ بِٱلْـَٔاخِرَةِ عَنِ ٱلصِّرَٰطِ لَنَٰكِبُونَ
Word by word
وَإِنَّ wa-inna And indeed ٱلَّذِينَ alladhīna those who لَا lā (do) not يُؤْمِنُونَ yu'minūna believe بِٱلْـَٔاخِرَةِ bil-ākhirati in the Hereafter عَنِ ʿani from ٱلصِّرَٰطِ l-ṣirāṭi the path لَنَـٰكِبُونَ lanākibūna surely (are) deviating
Transliteration
Wa-inna allatheena layu/minoona bil-akhirati AAani assiratilanakiboon
Translations
Pickthall — Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall
And lo! those who believe not in the Hereafter are indeed astray from the path.
Yusuf Ali — Abdullah Yusuf Ali
And verily those who believe not in the Hereafter are deviating from that Way.
تفسير ابن كثير — Ismail ibn Kathir
وقوله : ( وإن الذين لا يؤمنون بالآخرة عن الصراط لناكبون ) أي : لعادلون جائرون منحرفون . تقول العرب : نكب فلان عن الطريق : إذا زاغ عنها .
