Quran 24:25

Surah An-Noor, Verse 25

يَوْمَئِذٍ يُوَفِّيهِمُ ٱللَّهُ دِينَهُمُ ٱلْحَقَّ وَيَعْلَمُونَ أَنَّ ٱللَّهَ هُوَ ٱلْحَقُّ ٱلْمُبِينُ

Word by word

يَوْمَئِذٍۢ yawma-idhin That Day يُوَفِّيهِمُ yuwaffīhimu Allah will pay them in full ٱللَّهُ l-lahu Allah will pay them in full دِينَهُمُ dīnahumu their recompense ٱلْحَقَّ l-ḥaqa the due وَيَعْلَمُونَ wayaʿlamūna and they will know أَنَّ anna that ٱللَّهَ l-laha Allah هُوَ huwa He ٱلْحَقُّ l-ḥaqu (is) the Truth ٱلْمُبِينُ l-mubīnu the Manifest

Transliteration

Yawma-ithin yuwaffeehimu Allahudeenahumu alhaqqa wayaAAlamoona anna Allaha huwa alhaqqualmubeen

Translations

Pickthall — Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall

On that day Allah will pay them their just due, and they will know that Allah, He is the Manifest Truth.

Yusuf Ali — Abdullah Yusuf Ali

On that Day Allah will pay them back (all) their just dues, and they will realise that Allah is the (very) Truth, that makes all things manifest.

تفسير ابن كثير — Ismail ibn Kathir

وقوله : ( يومئذ يوفيهم الله دينهم الحق ) قال ابن عباس : ( دينهم ) أي : حسابهم ، وكل ما في القرآن ) دينهم ) أي : حسابهم . وكذا قال غير واحد .

ثم إن قراءة الجمهور بنصب ) الحق ) على أنه صفة لدينهم ، وقرأ مجاهد بالرفع ، على أنه نعت الجلالة . وقرأها بعض السلف في مصحف أبي بن كعب : " يومئذ يوفيهم الله الحق دينهم " .

وقوله : ( ويعلمون أن الله هو الحق المبين ) أي : وعده ووعيده وحسابه هو العدل ، الذي لا جور فيه .
