Surah An-Nisaa, Verse 138

بَشِّرِ ٱلْمُنَٰفِقِينَ بِأَنَّ لَهُمْ عَذَابًا أَلِيمًا

بَشِّرِ bashiri Give tidings ٱلْمُنَـٰفِقِينَ l-munāfiqīna (to) the hypocrites بِأَنَّ bi-anna that لَهُمْ lahum for them عَذَابًا ʿadhāban (is) a punishment أَلِيمًا alīman painful
Transliteration
Bashshiri almunafiqeena bi-annalahum AAathaban aleema
Translations
Pickthall — Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall
Bear unto the hypocrites the tidings that for them there is a painful doom;
Yusuf Ali — Abdullah Yusuf Ali
To the Hypocrites give the glad tidings that there is for them (but) a grievous penalty;-

ثم قال : ( بشر المنافقين بأن لهم عذابا أليما ) يعني : أن المنافقين من هذه الصفة فإنهم آمنوا ثم كفروا ، فطبع على قلوبهم ،
