Quran 4:30

Surah An-Nisaa, Verse 30

وَمَن يَفْعَلْ ذَٰلِكَ عُدْوَٰنًا وَظُلْمًا فَسَوْفَ نُصْلِيهِ نَارًا وَكَانَ ذَٰلِكَ عَلَى ٱللَّهِ يَسِيرًا

Word by word

وَمَن waman And whoever يَفْعَلْ yafʿal does ذَٰلِكَ dhālika that عُدْوَٰنًۭا ʿud'wānan (in) aggression وَظُلْمًۭا waẓul'man and injustice فَسَوْفَ fasawfa then soon نُصْلِيهِ nuṣ'līhi We (will) cast him نَارًۭا ۚ nāran (into) a Fire وَكَانَ wakāna And is ذَٰلِكَ dhālika that عَلَى ʿalā for ٱللَّهِ l-lahi Allah يَسِيرًا yasīran easy

Transliteration

Waman yafAAal thalika AAudwananwathulman fasawfa nusleehi naran wakanathalika AAala Allahi yaseera

Translations

Pickthall — Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall

Whoso doeth that through aggression and injustice, we shall cast him into Fire, and that is ever easy for Allah.

Yusuf Ali — Abdullah Yusuf Ali

If any do that in rancour and injustice,- soon shall We cast them into the Fire: And easy it is for Allah.

تفسير ابن كثير — Ismail ibn Kathir

ولهذا قال الله تعالى : ( ومن يفعل ذلك عدوانا وظلما ) أي : ومن يتعاطى ما نهاه الله عنه متعديا فيه ظالما في تعاطيه ، أي : عالما بتحريمه متجاسرا على انتهاكه ( فسوف نصليه نارا [ وكان ذلك على الله يسيرا ] ) وهذا تهديد شديد ووعيد أكيد ، فليحذر منه كل عاقل لبيب ممن ألقى السمع وهو شهيد .
