Quran 43:82
Surah Az-Zukhruf, Verse 82

سُبْحَٰنَ رَبِّ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ رَبِّ ٱلْعَرْشِ عَمَّا يَصِفُونَ
Word by word
سُبْحَـٰنَ sub'ḥāna Glory be رَبِّ rabbi (to the) Lord ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ l-samāwāti (of) the heavens وَٱلْأَرْضِ wal-arḍi and the earth رَبِّ rabbi (the) Lord ٱلْعَرْشِ l-ʿarshi (of) the Throne عَمَّا ʿammā above what يَصِفُونَ yaṣifūna they ascribe
Transliteration
Subhana rabbi assamawatiwal-ardi rabbi alAAarshi AAamma yasifoon
Translations
Pickthall — Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall
Glorified be the Lord of the heavens and the earth, the Lord of the Throne, from that which they ascribe (unto Him)!
Yusuf Ali — Abdullah Yusuf Ali
Glory to the Lord of the heavens and the earth, the Lord of the Throne (of Authority)! (He is free) from the things they attribute (to him)!
تفسير ابن كثير — Ismail ibn Kathir
ولهذا قال : ( سبحان رب السموات والأرض رب العرش عما يصفون ) أي : تعالى وتقدس وتنزه خالق الأشياء عن أن يكون له ولد ، فإنه فرد أحد صمد ، لا نظير له ولا كفء له ، فلا ولد له .
