Quran 77:38
Surah Al-Mursalaat, Verse 38

هَٰذَا يَوْمُ ٱلْفَصْلِ جَمَعْنَٰكُمْ وَٱلْأَوَّلِينَ
Word by word
هَـٰذَا hādhā This يَوْمُ yawmu (is the) Day ٱلْفَصْلِ ۖ l-faṣli (of) Judgment جَمَعْنَـٰكُمْ jamaʿnākum We have gathered you وَٱلْأَوَّلِينَ wal-awalīna and the former (people)
Transliteration
Hatha yawmu alfasli jamaAAnakumwal-awwaleen
Translations
Pickthall — Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall
This is the Day of Decision, We have brought you and the men of old together.
Yusuf Ali — Abdullah Yusuf Ali
That will be a Day of Sorting out! We shall gather you together and those before (you)!
تفسير ابن كثير — Ismail ibn Kathir
وهذه مخاطبة من الخالق تعالى لعباده يقول لهم "هذا يوم الفصل جمعناكم والأولين" يعني أنه جمعهم بقدرته في صعيد واحد يسمعهم الداعي وينفذهم البصر.
