ثُمَّ شَقَقْنَا ٱلْأَرْضَ شَقًّا

ثُمَّ thumma Then شَقَقْنَا shaqaqnā We cleaved ٱلْأَرْضَ l-arḍa the earth شَقًّۭا shaqqan splitting
Transliteration
Thumma shaqaqna al-arda shaqqa

أي أسكناه فيها فيدخل في تخومها وتخلل في أجزاء الحب المودع فيها فنبت وارتفع وظهر على وجه الأرض.
