Quran 14:52

Surah Ibrahim, Verse 52

هَٰذَا بَلَٰغٌ لِّلنَّاسِ وَلِيُنذَرُوا۟ بِهِۦ وَلِيَعْلَمُوٓا۟ أَنَّمَا هُوَ إِلَٰهٌ وَٰحِدٌ وَلِيَذَّكَّرَ أُو۟لُوا۟ ٱلْأَلْبَٰبِ

Word by word

هَـٰذَا hādhā This بَلَـٰغٌۭ balāghun (is) a Message لِّلنَّاسِ lilnnāsi for the mankind وَلِيُنذَرُوا۟ waliyundharū that they may be warned بِهِۦ bihi with it وَلِيَعْلَمُوٓا۟ waliyaʿlamū and that they may know أَنَّمَا annamā that only هُوَ huwa He إِلَـٰهٌۭ ilāhun (is) One God وَٰحِدٌۭ wāḥidun (is) One God وَلِيَذَّكَّرَ waliyadhakkara and that may take heed أُو۟لُوا۟ ulū men ٱلْأَلْبَـٰبِ l-albābi (of) understanding

Transliteration

Hatha balaghun linnasiwaliyuntharoo bihi waliyaAAlamoo annama huwa ilahunwahidun waliyaththakkara oloo al-albab

Translations

This is a clear message for mankind in order that they may be warned thereby, and that they may know that He is only One Allah, and that men of understanding may take heed.

Yusuf Ali — Abdullah Yusuf Ali

Here is a Message for mankind: Let them take warning therefrom, and let them know that He is (no other than) One Allah: let men of understanding take heed.

تفسير ابن كثير — Ismail ibn Kathir

يقول تعالى : هذا القرآن بلاغ للناس ، كقوله : ( لأنذركم به ومن بلغ ) [ الأنعام : 19 ] أي : هو بلاغ لجميع الخلق من إنس وجان ، كما قال في أول السورة : ( الر كتاب أنزلناه إليك لتخرج الناس من الظلمات إلى النور بإذن ربهم )

( ولينذروا به ) أي : ليتعظوا به ، ( وليعلموا أنما هو إله واحد ) أي : يستدلوا بما فيه من الحجج والدلالات على أنه لا إله إلا هو ( وليذكر أولو الألباب ) أي : ذوو العقول .
