Surah An-Nahl, Verse 102

قُلْ نَزَّلَهُۥ رُوحُ ٱلْقُدُسِ مِن رَّبِّكَ بِٱلْحَقِّ لِيُثَبِّتَ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَهُدًى وَبُشْرَىٰ لِلْمُسْلِمِينَ

Word by word

قُلْ qul Say نَزَّلَهُۥ nazzalahu Has brought it down رُوحُ rūḥu the Holy Spirit ٱلْقُدُسِ l-qudusi the Holy Spirit مِن min from رَّبِّكَ rabbika your Lord بِٱلْحَقِّ bil-ḥaqi in truth لِيُثَبِّتَ liyuthabbita to make firm ٱلَّذِينَ alladhīna those who ءَامَنُوا۟ āmanū believe وَهُدًۭى wahudan and (as) a guidance وَبُشْرَىٰ wabush'rā and glad tidings لِلْمُسْلِمِينَ lil'mus'limīna to the Muslims

Transliteration

Qul nazzalahu roohu alqudusi minrabbika bilhaqqi liyuthabbita allatheena amanoowahudan wabushra lilmuslimeen

Translations

Pickthall — Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall

Say: The holy Spirit hath delivered it from thy Lord with truth, that it may confirm (the faith of) those who believe, and as guidance and good tidings for those who have surrendered (to Allah).

Yusuf Ali — Abdullah Yusuf Ali

Say, the Holy Spirit has brought the revelation from thy Lord in Truth, in order to strengthen those who believe, and as a Guide and Glad Tidings to Muslims.

تفسير ابن كثير — Ismail ibn Kathir

فقال تعالى مجيبا لهم : ( قل نزله روح القدس ) أي : جبريل ، ( من ربك بالحق ) أي : بالصدق والعدل ، ( ليثبت الذين آمنوا ) فيصدقوا بما أنزل أولا وثانيا وتخبت له قلوبهم ، ( وهدى وبشرى للمسلمين ) أي : وجعله هاديا [ مهديا ] وبشارة للمسلمين الذين آمنوا بالله ورسله .
