وَلَهُمْ عَلَىَّ ذَنۢبٌ فَأَخَافُ أَن يَقْتُلُونِ
Word by word
وَلَهُمْ walahum And they have عَلَىَّ ʿalayya against me ذَنۢبٌۭ dhanbun a crime فَأَخَافُ fa-akhāfu so I fear أَن an that يَقْتُلُونِ yaqtulūni they will kill me
Transliteration
Walahum AAalayya thanbun faakhafuan yaqtuloon

تفسير ابن كثير — Ismail ibn Kathir
وقوله تعالى "ولهم علي ذنب فأخاف أن يقتلون" أي بسبب قتل القبطي الذي كان سبب خروجه من بلاد مصر.
