Quran 26:213
Surah Ash-Shu'araa, Verse 213

فَلَا تَدْعُ مَعَ ٱللَّهِ إِلَٰهًا ءَاخَرَ فَتَكُونَ مِنَ ٱلْمُعَذَّبِينَ
Word by word
فَلَا falā So (do) not تَدْعُ tadʿu invoke مَعَ maʿa with ٱللَّهِ l-lahi Allah إِلَـٰهًا ilāhan god ءَاخَرَ ākhara another فَتَكُونَ fatakūna lest you be مِنَ mina of ٱلْمُعَذَّبِينَ l-muʿadhabīna those punished
Transliteration
Fala tadAAu maAAa Allahi ilahanakhara fatakoona mina almuAAaththabeen
Translations
Pickthall — Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall
Therefor invoke not with Allah another god, lest thou be one of the doomed.
Yusuf Ali — Abdullah Yusuf Ali
So call not on any other god with Allah, or thou wilt be among those under the Penalty.
تفسير ابن كثير — Ismail ibn Kathir
يقول تعالى آمرا بعبادته وحده لا شريك له ، ومخبرا أن من أشرك به عذبه .
