Surah Ash-Shu'araa, Verse 69

وَٱتْلُ عَلَيْهِمْ نَبَأَ إِبْرَٰهِيمَ

وَٱتْلُ wa-ut'lu And recite عَلَيْهِمْ ʿalayhim to them نَبَأَ naba-a (the) news إِبْرَٰهِيمَ ib'rāhīma (of) Ibrahim
Transliteration
Watlu AAalayhim nabaa ibraheem

And rehearse to them (something of) Abraham's story.
تفسير ابن كثير — Ismail ibn Kathir
هذا إخبار من الله تعالى عن عبده ورسوله وخليله إبراهيم عليه السلام إمام الحنفاء أمر الله تعالى رسوله محمدا صلى الله عليه وسلم أن يتلوه على أمته ليقتدوا به في الإخلاص والتوكل وعبادة الله وحده لا شريك له والتبري من الشرك وأهله.
