Quran 27:13
Surah An-Naml, Verse 13

فَلَمَّا جَآءَتْهُمْ ءَايَٰتُنَا مُبْصِرَةً قَالُوا۟ هَٰذَا سِحْرٌ مُّبِينٌ
Word by word
فَلَمَّا falammā But when جَآءَتْهُمْ jāathum came to them ءَايَـٰتُنَا āyātunā Our Signs مُبْصِرَةًۭ mub'ṣiratan visible قَالُوا۟ qālū they said هَـٰذَا hādhā This سِحْرٌۭ siḥ'run (is) a magic مُّبِينٌۭ mubīnun manifest
Transliteration
Falamma jaat-hum ayatunamubsiratan qaloo hatha sihrun mubeen
Translations
Pickthall — Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall
But when Our tokens came unto them, plain to see, they said: This is mere magic,
Yusuf Ali — Abdullah Yusuf Ali
But when Our Signs came to them, that should have opened their eyes, they said: "This is sorcery manifest!"
تفسير ابن كثير — Ismail ibn Kathir
وقوله : ( فلما جاءتهم آياتنا مبصرة ) أي : بينة واضحة ظاهرة ، ( قالوا هذا سحر مبين ) وأرادوا معارضته بسحرهم فغلبوا [ هنالك ] ( وانقلبوا صاغرين ) .
