Quran 3:182
Surah Aal-i-Imraan, Verse 182

ذَٰلِكَ بِمَا قَدَّمَتْ أَيْدِيكُمْ وَأَنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَيْسَ بِظَلَّامٍ لِّلْعَبِيدِ
Word by word
ذَٰلِكَ dhālika That بِمَا bimā (is) because قَدَّمَتْ qaddamat (of what) sent forth أَيْدِيكُمْ aydīkum your hands وَأَنَّ wa-anna and that ٱللَّهَ l-laha Allah لَيْسَ laysa is not بِظَلَّامٍۢ biẓallāmin unjust لِّلْعَبِيدِ lil'ʿabīdi to (His) slaves
Transliteration
Thalika bima qaddamataydeekum waanna Allaha laysa bithallaminlilAAabeed
Translations
Pickthall — Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall
This is on account of that which your own hands have sent before (you to the judgment). Allah is no oppressor of (His) bondmen.
Yusuf Ali — Abdullah Yusuf Ali
"This is because of the (unrighteous deeds) which your hands sent on before ye: For Allah never harms those who serve Him."
تفسير ابن كثير — Ismail ibn Kathir
ولهذا قال : ( ونقول ذوقوا عذاب الحريق . ذلك بما قدمت أيديكم وأن الله ليس بظلام للعبيد ) أي : يقال لهم ذلك تقريعا وتحقيرا وتصغيرا .
