ٱصْلَوْهَا ٱلْيَوْمَ بِمَا كُنتُمْ تَكْفُرُونَ

ٱصْلَوْهَا iṣ'lawhā Burn therein ٱلْيَوْمَ l-yawma today بِمَا bimā because كُنتُمْ kuntum you used to تَكْفُرُونَ takfurūna disbelieve
Transliteration
Islawha alyawma bimakuntum takfuroon

Burn therein this day for that ye disbelieved.

"Embrace ye the (fire) this Day, for that ye (persistently) rejected (Truth)."
تفسير ابن كثير — Ismail ibn Kathir
( اصلوها اليوم بما كنتم تكفرون ) ، كما قال تعالى : ( يوم يدعون إلى نار جهنم دعا هذه النار التي كنتم بها تكذبون أفسحر هذا أم أنتم لا تبصرون ) [ الطور : 13 - 15 ] .
