Quran 40:69
Surah Al-Ghaafir, Verse 69

أَلَمْ تَرَ إِلَى ٱلَّذِينَ يُجَٰدِلُونَ فِىٓ ءَايَٰتِ ٱللَّهِ أَنَّىٰ يُصْرَفُونَ
Word by word
أَلَمْ alam Do not تَرَ tara you see إِلَى ilā [to] ٱلَّذِينَ alladhīna those who يُجَـٰدِلُونَ yujādilūna dispute فِىٓ fī concerning ءَايَـٰتِ āyāti (the) Signs ٱللَّهِ l-lahi (of) Allah أَنَّىٰ annā How يُصْرَفُونَ yuṣ'rafūna they are turned away
Transliteration
Alam tara ila allatheena yujadiloonafee ayati Allahi anna yusrafoon

Hast thou not seen those who wrangle concerning the revelations of Allah, how they are turned away? -

Seest thou not those that dispute concerning the Signs of Allah? How are they turned away (from Reality)?-
تفسير ابن كثير — Ismail ibn Kathir
يقول تعالى ألا تعجب يا محمد من هؤلاء المكذبين بآيات الله ويجادلون في الحق بالباطل كيف تصرف عقولهم عن الهدى إلى الضلال.
