Quran 43:16
Surah Az-Zukhruf, Verse 16

أَمِ ٱتَّخَذَ مِمَّا يَخْلُقُ بَنَاتٍ وَأَصْفَىٰكُم بِٱلْبَنِينَ
Word by word
أَمِ ami Or ٱتَّخَذَ ittakhadha has He taken مِمَّا mimmā of what يَخْلُقُ yakhluqu He has created بَنَاتٍۢ banātin daughters وَأَصْفَىٰكُم wa-aṣfākum and He has chosen (for) you بِٱلْبَنِينَ bil-banīna sons
Transliteration
Ami ittakhatha mimma yakhluqubanatin waasfakum bilbaneen
Translations
Pickthall — Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall
Or chooseth He daughters of all that He hath created, and honoureth He you with sons?
Yusuf Ali — Abdullah Yusuf Ali
What! has He taken daughters out of what He himself creates, and granted to you sons for choice?

وهذا إنكار عليهم غاية الإنكار.
