Quran 43:39
Surah Az-Zukhruf, Verse 39

وَلَن يَنفَعَكُمُ ٱلْيَوْمَ إِذ ظَّلَمْتُمْ أَنَّكُمْ فِى ٱلْعَذَابِ مُشْتَرِكُونَ
Word by word
وَلَن walan And never يَنفَعَكُمُ yanfaʿakumu will benefit you ٱلْيَوْمَ l-yawma the Day إِذ idh when ظَّلَمْتُمْ ẓalamtum you have wronged أَنَّكُمْ annakum that you فِى fī (will be) in ٱلْعَذَابِ l-ʿadhābi the punishment مُشْتَرِكُونَ mush'tarikūna sharing
Transliteration
Walan yanfaAAakumu alyawma ith thalamtumannakum fee alAAathabi mushtarikoon
Translations
Pickthall — Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall
And it profiteth you not this day, because ye did wrong, that ye will be sharers in the doom.
Yusuf Ali — Abdullah Yusuf Ali
When ye have done wrong, it will avail you nothing, that Day, that ye shall be partners in Punishment!
تفسير ابن كثير — Ismail ibn Kathir
ثم قال تعالى : ( ولن ينفعكم اليوم إذ ظلمتم أنكم في العذاب مشتركون ) أي : لا يغني عنكم اجتماعكم في النار واشتراككم في العذاب الأليم .
