Quran 47:1

ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ وَصَدُّوا۟ عَن سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِ أَضَلَّ أَعْمَٰلَهُمْ
Word by word
ٱلَّذِينَ alladhīna Those who كَفَرُوا۟ kafarū disbelieve وَصَدُّوا۟ waṣaddū and turn away عَن ʿan from سَبِيلِ sabīli (the) way of Allah ٱللَّهِ l-lahi (the) way of Allah أَضَلَّ aḍalla He will cause to be lost أَعْمَـٰلَهُمْ aʿmālahum their deeds
Transliteration
Allatheena kafaroo wasaddooAAan sabeeli Allahi adalla aAAmalahum
Translations
Pickthall — Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall
Those who disbelieve and turn (men) from the way of Allah, He rendereth their actions vain.
Yusuf Ali — Abdullah Yusuf Ali
Those who reject Allah and hinder (men) from the Path of Allah,- their deeds will Allah render astray (from their mark).
تفسير ابن كثير — Ismail ibn Kathir
يقول تعالى : ( الذين كفروا ) أي : بآيات الله ، ( وصدوا ) غيرهم ( عن سبيل الله أضل أعمالهم ) أي : أبطلها وأذهبها ، ولم يجعل لها جزاء ولا ثوابا ، كقوله تعالى : ( وقدمنا إلى ما عملوا من عمل فجعلناه هباء منثورا ) [ الفرقان : 23 ] .
