Quran 47:7

Surah Muhammad, Verse 7

يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوٓا۟ إِن تَنصُرُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ يَنصُرْكُمْ وَيُثَبِّتْ أَقْدَامَكُمْ

Word by word

يَـٰٓأَيُّهَا yāayyuhā O you who believe ٱلَّذِينَ alladhīna O you who believe ءَامَنُوٓا۟ āmanū O you who believe إِن in If تَنصُرُوا۟ tanṣurū you help ٱللَّهَ l-laha Allah يَنصُرْكُمْ yanṣur'kum He will help you وَيُثَبِّتْ wayuthabbit and make firm أَقْدَامَكُمْ aqdāmakum your feet

Transliteration

Ya ayyuha allatheena amanooin tansuroo Allaha yansurkum wayuthabbit aqdamakum

Translations

Pickthall — Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall

O ye who believe! If ye help Allah, He will help you and will make your foothold firm.

Yusuf Ali — Abdullah Yusuf Ali

O ye who believe! If ye will aid (the cause of) Allah, He will aid you, and plant your feet firmly.

تفسير ابن كثير — Ismail ibn Kathir

ثم قال تعالى : ( يا أيها الذين آمنوا إن تنصروا الله ينصركم ويثبت أقدامكم ) ، كقوله : ( ولينصرن الله من ينصره ) [ الحج : 40 ] ، فإن الجزاء من جنس العمل ; ولهذا قال : ( ويثبت أقدامكم ) ، كما جاء في الحديث : " من بلغ ذا سلطان حاجة من لا يستطيع إبلاغها ، ثبت الله قدمه على الصراط يوم القيامة".
