Surah Qaaf, Verse 43

إِنَّا نَحْنُ نُحْىِۦ وَنُمِيتُ وَإِلَيْنَا ٱلْمَصِيرُ

إِنَّا innā Indeed, We نَحْنُ naḥnu [We] نُحْىِۦ nuḥ'yī [We] give life وَنُمِيتُ wanumītu and [We] cause death وَإِلَيْنَا wa-ilaynā and to Us ٱلْمَصِيرُ l-maṣīru (is) the final return
Transliteration
Inna nahnu nuhyeewanumeetu wa-ilayna almaseer
Translations

Lo! We it is Who quicken and give death, and unto Us is the journeying.

Verily it is We Who give Life and Death; and to Us is the Final Goal-
تفسير ابن كثير — Ismail ibn Kathir
( إنا نحن نحيي ونميت وإلينا المصير ) أي : هو الذي يبدأ الخلق ثم يعيده ، وهو أهون عليه ، وإليه مصير الخلائق كلهم ، فيجازي كلا بعمله ، إن خيرا فخير ، وإن شرا فشر .
