Quran 52:37

Surah At-Tur, Verse 37

أَمْ عِندَهُمْ خَزَآئِنُ رَبِّكَ أَمْ هُمُ ٱلْمُصَۣيْطِرُونَ

Word by word

أَمْ am Or عِندَهُمْ ʿindahum with them خَزَآئِنُ khazāinu (are the) treasures رَبِّكَ rabbika (of) your Lord أَمْ am or هُمُ humu (are) they ٱلْمُصَۣيْطِرُونَ l-muṣayṭirūna the controllers

Transliteration

Am AAindahum khaza-inu rabbika amhumu almusaytiroon

Translations

Pickthall — Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall

Or do they own the treasures of thy Lord? Or have they been given charge (thereof)?

Yusuf Ali — Abdullah Yusuf Ali

Or are the Treasures of thy Lord with them, or are they the managers (of affairs)?

تفسير ابن كثير — Ismail ibn Kathir

( أم عندهم خزائن ربك أم هم المسيطرون ) أي : أهم يتصرفون في الملك وبيدهم مفاتيح الخزائن ، ( أم هم المسيطرون ) أي : المحاسبون للخلائق ، ليس الأمر كذلك ، بل الله عز وجل ، هو المالك المتصرف الفعال لما يريد .
