Quran 6:22

Surah Al-An'aam, Verse 22

وَيَوْمَ نَحْشُرُهُمْ جَمِيعًا ثُمَّ نَقُولُ لِلَّذِينَ أَشْرَكُوٓا۟ أَيْنَ شُرَكَآؤُكُمُ ٱلَّذِينَ كُنتُمْ تَزْعُمُونَ

Word by word

وَيَوْمَ wayawma And (the) Day نَحْشُرُهُمْ naḥshuruhum We will gather them جَمِيعًۭا jamīʿan all ثُمَّ thumma then نَقُولُ naqūlu We will say لِلَّذِينَ lilladhīna to those who أَشْرَكُوٓا۟ ashrakū associated others with Allah أَيْنَ ayna Where (are) شُرَكَآؤُكُمُ shurakāukumu your partners ٱلَّذِينَ alladhīna those whom كُنتُمْ kuntum you used to تَزْعُمُونَ tazʿumūna claim

Transliteration

Wayawma nahshuruhum jameeAAan thummanaqoolu lillatheena ashrakoo ayna shurakaokumu allatheenakuntum tazAAumoon

Translations

Pickthall — Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall

And on the day We gather them together We shall say unto those who ascribed partners (unto Allah): Where are (now) those partners of your make-believe?

Yusuf Ali — Abdullah Yusuf Ali

One day shall We gather them all together: We shall say to those who ascribed partners (to Us): "Where are the partners whom ye (invented and) talked about?"

تفسير ابن كثير — Ismail ibn Kathir

يقول تعالى مخبرا عن المشركين : ( ويوم نحشرهم جميعا ) يوم القيامة فيسألهم عن الأصنام والأنداد التي كانوا يعبدونها من دونه قائلا [ لهم ] ( أين شركاؤكم الذين كنتم تزعمون ) كما قال تعالى في سورة القصص : ( ويوم يناديهم فيقول أين شركائي الذين كنتم تزعمون ) [ الآية : 62 ] .
