Quran 6:45
Surah Al-An'aam, Verse 45

فَقُطِعَ دَابِرُ ٱلْقَوْمِ ٱلَّذِينَ ظَلَمُوا۟ وَٱلْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ ٱلْعَٰلَمِينَ
Word by word
فَقُطِعَ faquṭiʿa So was cut off دَابِرُ dābiru (the) remnant ٱلْقَوْمِ l-qawmi (of) the people ٱلَّذِينَ alladhīna [those] who ظَلَمُوا۟ ۚ ẓalamū did wrong وَٱلْحَمْدُ wal-ḥamdu And all praises and thanks لِلَّهِ lillahi (be) to Allah رَبِّ rabbi Lord ٱلْعَـٰلَمِينَ l-ʿālamīna (of) the worlds
Transliteration
FaqutiAAa dabiru alqawmi allatheenathalamoo walhamdu lillahirabbi alAAalameen
Translations
Pickthall — Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall
So of the people who did wrong the last remnant was cut off. Praise be to Allah, Lord of the Worlds!
Yusuf Ali — Abdullah Yusuf Ali
Of the wrong-doers the last remnant was cut off. Praise be to Allah, the Cherisher of the worlds.
تفسير ابن كثير — Ismail ibn Kathir
( حتى إذا فرحوا بما أوتوا أخذناهم بغتة فإذا هم مبلسون ) كما قال : ( فقطع دابر القوم الذين ظلموا والحمد لله رب العالمين )
