Quran 7:170
Surah Al-A'raaf, Verse 170

وَٱلَّذِينَ يُمَسِّكُونَ بِٱلْكِتَٰبِ وَأَقَامُوا۟ ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ إِنَّا لَا نُضِيعُ أَجْرَ ٱلْمُصْلِحِينَ
Word by word
وَٱلَّذِينَ wa-alladhīna And those who يُمَسِّكُونَ yumassikūna hold fast بِٱلْكِتَـٰبِ bil-kitābi to the Book وَأَقَامُوا۟ wa-aqāmū and establish ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ l-ṣalata the prayer إِنَّا innā indeed, We لَا lā (will) not نُضِيعُ nuḍīʿu [We] let go waste أَجْرَ ajra (the) reward ٱلْمُصْلِحِينَ l-muṣ'liḥīna (of) the reformers
Transliteration
Wallatheena yumassikoona bilkitabiwaaqamoo assalata inna lanudeeAAu ajra almusliheen
Translations
Pickthall — Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall
And as for those who make (men) keep the Scripture, and establish worship - lo! We squander not the wages of reformers.
Yusuf Ali — Abdullah Yusuf Ali
As to those who hold fast by the Book and establish regular prayer,- never shall We suffer the reward of the righteous to perish.
تفسير ابن كثير — Ismail ibn Kathir
فقال تعالى ( والذين يمسكون بالكتاب ) أي : اعتصموا به واقتدوا بأوامره ، وتركوا زواجره ( وأقاموا الصلاة إنا لا نضيع أجر المصلحين )
