Quran 7:36
Surah Al-A'raaf, Verse 36

وَٱلَّذِينَ كَذَّبُوا۟ بِـَٔايَٰتِنَا وَٱسْتَكْبَرُوا۟ عَنْهَآ أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ أَصْحَٰبُ ٱلنَّارِ هُمْ فِيهَا خَٰلِدُونَ
Word by word
وَٱلَّذِينَ wa-alladhīna But those who كَذَّبُوا۟ kadhabū deny بِـَٔايَـٰتِنَا biāyātinā Our Verses وَٱسْتَكْبَرُوا۟ wa-is'takbarū and (are) arrogant عَنْهَآ ʿanhā towards them أُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَ ulāika those أَصْحَـٰبُ aṣḥābu (are the) companions ٱلنَّارِ ۖ l-nāri (of) the Fire هُمْ hum they فِيهَا fīhā in it خَـٰلِدُونَ khālidūna will abide forever
Transliteration
Wallatheena kaththaboobi-ayatina wastakbaroo AAanhaola-ika as-habu annari humfeeha khalidoon
Translations
Pickthall — Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall
But they who deny Our revelations and scorn them - each are rightful owners of the Fire; they will abide therein.
Yusuf Ali — Abdullah Yusuf Ali
But those who reject Our signs and treat them with arrogance,- they are companions of the Fire, to dwell therein (for ever).
تفسير ابن كثير — Ismail ibn Kathir
أي : كذبت بها قلوبهم ، واستكبروا عن العمل بها ( أولئك أصحاب النار هم فيها خالدون ) أي : ماكثون فيها مكثا مخلدا .
