Quran 72:7
Surah Al-Jinn, Verse 7

وَأَنَّهُمْ ظَنُّوا۟ كَمَا ظَنَنتُمْ أَن لَّن يَبْعَثَ ٱللَّهُ أَحَدًا
Word by word
وَأَنَّهُمْ wa-annahum And that they ظَنُّوا۟ ẓannū thought كَمَا kamā as ظَنَنتُمْ ẓanantum you thought أَن an that لَّن lan never يَبْعَثَ yabʿatha will raise ٱللَّهُ l-lahu Allah أَحَدًۭا aḥadan anyone
Transliteration
Waannahum thannoo kama thanantuman lan yabAAatha Allahu ahada
Translations

And indeed they supposed, even as ye suppose, that Allah would not raise anyone (from the dead) -
Yusuf Ali — Abdullah Yusuf Ali
'And they (came to) think as ye thought, that Allah would not raise up any one (to Judgment).
تفسير ابن كثير — Ismail ibn Kathir
وقوله : ( وأنهم ظنوا كما ظننتم أن لن يبعث الله أحدا ) أي : لن يبعث الله بعد هذه المدة رسولا . قاله الكلبي وابن جرير .
