Quran 72:8
Surah Al-Jinn, Verse 8

وَأَنَّا لَمَسْنَا ٱلسَّمَآءَ فَوَجَدْنَٰهَا مُلِئَتْ حَرَسًا شَدِيدًا وَشُهُبًا
Word by word
وَأَنَّا wa-annā And that we لَمَسْنَا lamasnā sought to touch ٱلسَّمَآءَ l-samāa the heaven فَوَجَدْنَـٰهَا fawajadnāhā but we found it مُلِئَتْ muli-at filled (with) حَرَسًۭا ḥarasan guards شَدِيدًۭا shadīdan severe وَشُهُبًۭا washuhuban and flaming fires
Transliteration
Waanna lamasna assamaafawajadnaha muli-at harasan shadeedanwashuhuba
Translations

And (the Jinn who had listened to the Qur'an said): We had sought the heaven but had found it filled with strong warders and meteors.

'And we pried into the secrets of heaven; but we found it filled with stern guards and flaming fires.
تفسير ابن كثير — Ismail ibn Kathir
يخبر تعالى عن الجن حين بعث الله رسوله محمدا صلى الله عليه وسلم وأنزل عليه القرآن وكان من حفظه له أن السماء ملئت حرسا شديد وحفظت من سائر أرجائها.
