وَٱلصُّبْحِ إِذَا تَنَفَّسَ

وَٱلصُّبْحِ wal-ṣub'ḥi And the dawn إِذَا idhā when تَنَفَّسَ tanaffasa it breathes

Wassubhi ithatanaffas

And the Dawn as it breathes away the darkness;-
تفسير ابن كثير — Ismail ibn Kathir
قال الضحاك: إذا طلع
وقال قتادة : إذا أضاء وأقبل، وقال سعيد بن جبير: إذا نشأ وهو المروي عن علي رضي الله عنه
وقال ابن جرير: يعني ضوء النهار إذا أقبل وتبين.
