Quran 90:19
Surah Al-Balad, Verse 19

وَٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ بِـَٔايَٰتِنَا هُمْ أَصْحَٰبُ ٱلْمَشْـَٔمَةِ
Word by word
وَٱلَّذِينَ wa-alladhīna But those who كَفَرُوا۟ kafarū disbelieve بِـَٔايَـٰتِنَا biāyātinā in Our Verses هُمْ hum they أَصْحَـٰبُ aṣḥābu (are the) companions ٱلْمَشْـَٔمَةِ l-mashamati (of) the left (hand)
Transliteration
Wallatheena kafaroo bi-ayatinahum as-habu almash-ama
Translations
Pickthall — Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall
But those who disbelieve Our revelations, their place will be on the left hand.
Yusuf Ali — Abdullah Yusuf Ali
But those who reject Our Signs, they are the (unhappy) Companions of the Left Hand.
تفسير ابن كثير — Ismail ibn Kathir
قال "والذين كفروا بآياتنا هم أصحاب المشئمة" أي أصحاب الشمال.
