Surah Al-Lail, Verse 13

وَإِنَّ لَنَا لَلْـَٔاخِرَةَ وَٱلْأُولَىٰ
Word by word
وَإِنَّ wa-inna And indeed لَنَا lanā for Us لَلْـَٔاخِرَةَ lalākhirata (is) the Hereafter وَٱلْأُولَىٰ wal-ūlā and the first (life)
Transliteration
Wa-inna lana lal-akhirata wal-oola
Translations
Pickthall — Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall
And lo! unto Us belong the latter portion and the former.
Yusuf Ali — Abdullah Yusuf Ali
And verily unto Us (belong) the End and the Beginning.
تفسير ابن كثير — Ismail ibn Kathir
قوله تعالى "إن لنا للآخرة والأولى" أي الجميع ملكنا وأنا المتصرف فيهما.
