Quran 98:7
Surah Al-Bayyina, Verse 7

إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَعَمِلُوا۟ ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ هُمْ خَيْرُ ٱلْبَرِيَّةِ
Word by word
إِنَّ inna Indeed ٱلَّذِينَ alladhīna those who ءَامَنُوا۟ āmanū believe وَعَمِلُوا۟ waʿamilū and do ٱلصَّـٰلِحَـٰتِ l-ṣāliḥāti righteous deeds أُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَ ulāika those هُمْ hum they خَيْرُ khayru (are the) best ٱلْبَرِيَّةِ l-bariyati (of) the creatures
Transliteration
Inna allatheena amanoowaAAamiloo assalihati ola-ika humkhayru albariyya
Translations
Pickthall — Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall
(And) lo! those who believe and do good works are the best of created beings.
Yusuf Ali — Abdullah Yusuf Ali
Those who have faith and do righteous deeds,- they are the best of creatures.
تفسير ابن كثير — Ismail ibn Kathir
ثم أخبر تعالى عن الأبرار الذين آمنوا بقلوبهم وعملوا الصالحات بأبدانهم بأنهم خير البرية وقد استدل بهذه الآية أبو هريرة وطائفة من العلماء على تفضيل المؤمنين من البرية على الملائكة لقوله "أولئك هم خير البرية".
