Quran 15:55
Surah Al-Hijr, Verse 55

قَالُوا۟ بَشَّرْنَٰكَ بِٱلْحَقِّ فَلَا تَكُن مِّنَ ٱلْقَٰنِطِينَ
Word by word
قَالُوا۟ qālū They said بَشَّرْنَـٰكَ basharnāka We give you glad tidings بِٱلْحَقِّ bil-ḥaqi in truth فَلَا falā so (do) not تَكُن takun be مِّنَ mina of ٱلْقَـٰنِطِينَ l-qāniṭīna the despairing
Transliteration
Qaloo bashsharnaka bilhaqqifala takun mina alqaniteen
Translations
Pickthall — Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall
They said: We bring thee good tidings in truth. So be not thou of the despairing.
Yusuf Ali — Abdullah Yusuf Ali
They said: "We give thee glad tidings in truth: be not then in despair!"
تفسير ابن كثير — Ismail ibn Kathir
" قالوا بشرناك بالحق فلا تكن من القانطين " وقرأ بعضهم القنطين.
