Surah Al-Hijr, Verse 60

إِلَّا ٱمْرَأَتَهُۥ قَدَّرْنَآ إِنَّهَا لَمِنَ ٱلْغَٰبِرِينَ
Word by word
إِلَّا illā Except ٱمْرَأَتَهُۥ im'ra-atahu his wife قَدَّرْنَآ ۙ qaddarnā We have decreed إِنَّهَا innahā that she لَمِنَ lamina (is) surely of ٱلْغَـٰبِرِينَ l-ghābirīna those who remain behind
Transliteration
Illa imraatahu qaddarna innahalamina alghabireen

Except his wife, of whom We had decreed that she should be of those who stay behind.

"Except his wife, who, We have ascertained, will be among those who will lag behind."
تفسير ابن كثير — Ismail ibn Kathir
إلا امرأته فإنها من الهالكين ولهذا قالوا " إلا امرأته قدرنا إنها لمن الغابرين " أي الباقين المهلكين.
