Quran 16:122
Surah An-Nahl, Verse 122

وَءَاتَيْنَٰهُ فِى ٱلدُّنْيَا حَسَنَةً وَإِنَّهُۥ فِى ٱلْـَٔاخِرَةِ لَمِنَ ٱلصَّٰلِحِينَ
Word by word
وَءَاتَيْنَـٰهُ waātaynāhu And We gave him فِى fī in ٱلدُّنْيَا l-dun'yā the world حَسَنَةًۭ ۖ ḥasanatan good وَإِنَّهُۥ wa-innahu and indeed, he فِى fī in ٱلْـَٔاخِرَةِ l-ākhirati the Hereafter لَمِنَ lamina (he) will surely (be) among ٱلصَّـٰلِحِينَ l-ṣāliḥīna the righteous
Transliteration
Waataynahu fee addunyahasanatan wa-innahu fee al-akhirati lamina assaliheen
Translations
Pickthall — Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall
And We gave him good in the world, and in the Hereafter he is among the righteous.
Yusuf Ali — Abdullah Yusuf Ali
And We gave him Good in this world, and he will be, in the Hereafter, in the ranks of the Righteous.
تفسير ابن كثير — Ismail ibn Kathir
وقوله : ( وآتيناه في الدنيا حسنة ) أي : جمعنا له خير الدنيا من جميع ما يحتاج المؤمن إليه في إكمال حياته الطيبة ، ( وإنه في الآخرة لمن الصالحين )
وقال مجاهد في قوله : ( وآتيناه في الدنيا حسنة ) أي : لسان صدق .
