Surah An-Nahl, Verse 5

وَٱلْأَنْعَٰمَ خَلَقَهَا لَكُمْ فِيهَا دِفْءٌ وَمَنَٰفِعُ وَمِنْهَا تَأْكُلُونَ
Word by word
وَٱلْأَنْعَـٰمَ wal-anʿāma And the cattle خَلَقَهَا ۗ khalaqahā He created them لَكُمْ lakum for you فِيهَا fīhā in them دِفْءٌۭ dif'on (is) warmth وَمَنَـٰفِعُ wamanāfiʿu and benefits وَمِنْهَا wamin'hā and from them تَأْكُلُونَ takulūna you eat
Transliteration
Wal-anAAama khalaqahalakum feeha dif-on wamanafiAAu waminhata-kuloon
Translations
Pickthall — Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall
And the cattle hath He created, whence ye have warm clothing and uses, and whereof ye eat;
Yusuf Ali — Abdullah Yusuf Ali
And cattle He has created for you (men): from them ye derive warmth, and numerous benefits, and of their (meat) ye eat.
تفسير ابن كثير — Ismail ibn Kathir
يمتن تعالى على عباده بما خلق لهم من الأنعام ، وهي الإبل والبقر والغنم ، كما فصلها في سورة الأنعام إلى ثمانية أزواج ، وبما جعل لهم فيها من المصالح والمنافع ، من أصوافها وأوبارها وأشعارها يلبسون ويفترشون ، ومن ألبانها يشربون ، ويأكلون من أولادها ،
