Quran 18:88

Surah Al-Kahf, Verse 88

وَأَمَّا مَنْ ءَامَنَ وَعَمِلَ صَٰلِحًا فَلَهُۥ جَزَآءً ٱلْحُسْنَىٰ وَسَنَقُولُ لَهُۥ مِنْ أَمْرِنَا يُسْرًا

Word by word

وَأَمَّا wa-ammā But as for مَنْ man (one) who ءَامَنَ āmana believes وَعَمِلَ waʿamila and does صَـٰلِحًۭا ṣāliḥan righteous (deeds) فَلَهُۥ falahu then for him جَزَآءً jazāan (is) a reward ٱلْحُسْنَىٰ ۖ l-ḥus'nā good وَسَنَقُولُ wasanaqūlu And we will speak لَهُۥ lahu to him مِنْ min from أَمْرِنَا amrinā our command يُسْرًۭا yus'ran (with) ease

Transliteration

Waamma man amana waAAamila salihanfalahu jazaan alhusna wasanaqoolu lahu minamrina yusra

Translations

But as for him who believeth and doeth right, good will be his reward, and We shall speak unto him a mild command.

Yusuf Ali — Abdullah Yusuf Ali

"But whoever believes, and works righteousness,- he shall have a goodly reward, and easy will be his task as We order it by our Command."

تفسير ابن كثير — Ismail ibn Kathir

وقوله : ( وأما من آمن ) أي : تابعنا على ما ندعوه إليه من عبادة الله وحده لا شريك له ( فله جزاء الحسنى ) أي : في الدار الآخرة عند الله - عز وجل - ( وسنقول له من أمرنا يسرا ) قال مجاهد : معروفا .
