لَّقَدْ أَحْصَىٰهُمْ وَعَدَّهُمْ عَدًّا

لَّقَدْ laqad Verily أَحْصَىٰهُمْ aḥṣāhum He has enumerated them وَعَدَّهُمْ waʿaddahum and counted them عَدًّۭا ʿaddan a counting
Transliteration
Laqad ahsahum waAAaddahum AAadda
Translations
Pickthall — Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall
Verily He knoweth them and numbereth them with (right) numbering.
Yusuf Ali — Abdullah Yusuf Ali
He does take an account of them (all), and hath numbered them (all) exactly.
تفسير ابن كثير — Ismail ibn Kathir
ولهذا قال : ( عبدا لقد أحصاهم وعدهم عدا ) أي : قد علم عددهم منذ خلقهم إلى يوم القيامة ، ذكرهم وأنثاهم وصغيرهم وكبيرهم .
