Surah Taa-Haa, Verse 101

خَٰلِدِينَ فِيهِ وَسَآءَ لَهُمْ يَوْمَ ٱلْقِيَٰمَةِ حِمْلًا
Word by word
خَـٰلِدِينَ khālidīna Abiding forever فِيهِ ۖ fīhi in it وَسَآءَ wasāa and evil لَهُمْ lahum for them يَوْمَ yawma (on the) Day ٱلْقِيَـٰمَةِ l-qiyāmati (of) the Resurrection حِمْلًۭا ḥim'lan (as) a load
Transliteration
Khalideena feehi wasaa lahumyawma alqiyamati himla
Translations
Pickthall — Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall
Abiding under it - an evil burden for them on the Day of Resurrection,
Yusuf Ali — Abdullah Yusuf Ali
They will abide in this (state): and grievous will the burden be to them on that Day,-
تفسير ابن كثير — Ismail ibn Kathir
(خالدين فيه ) أي : لا محيد لهم عنه ولا انفكاك ( وساء لهم يوم القيامة حملا ) أي : بئس الحمل حملهم .
