Quran 26:183
Surah Ash-Shu'araa, Verse 183

وَلَا تَبْخَسُوا۟ ٱلنَّاسَ أَشْيَآءَهُمْ وَلَا تَعْثَوْا۟ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ مُفْسِدِينَ
Word by word
وَلَا walā And (do) not تَبْخَسُوا۟ tabkhasū deprive ٱلنَّاسَ l-nāsa people أَشْيَآءَهُمْ ashyāahum (of) their things وَلَا walā and (do) not تَعْثَوْا۟ taʿthaw commit evil فِى fī in ٱلْأَرْضِ l-arḍi the earth مُفْسِدِينَ muf'sidīna spreading corruption
Transliteration
Wala tabkhasoo annasaashyaahum wala taAAthaw fee al-ardimufsideen

Wrong not mankind in their goods, and do not evil, making mischief, in the earth.

"And withhold not things justly due to men, nor do evil in the land, working mischief.
تفسير ابن كثير — Ismail ibn Kathir
وقوله "ولا تبخسوا الناس أشياءهم" أي لا تنقصوهم أموالهم "ولا تعثوا في الأرض مفسدين" يعني قطع الطريق كما قال في الآية الأخرى "ولا تقعدوا بكل صراط توعدون".
