Surah Ash-Shu'araa, Verse 82

وَٱلَّذِىٓ أَطْمَعُ أَن يَغْفِرَ لِى خَطِيٓـَٔتِى يَوْمَ ٱلدِّينِ
Word by word
وَٱلَّذِىٓ wa-alladhī And the One Who أَطْمَعُ aṭmaʿu I hope أَن an that يَغْفِرَ yaghfira He will forgive لِى lī for me خَطِيٓـَٔتِى khaṭīatī my faults يَوْمَ yawma (on the) Day ٱلدِّينِ l-dīni (of) the Judgment
Transliteration
Wallathee atmaAAu anyaghfira lee khatee-atee yawma addeen

And Who, I ardently hope, will forgive me my sin on the Day of Judgment.

تفسير ابن كثير — Ismail ibn Kathir
( والذي أطمع أن يغفر لي خطيئتي يوم الدين ) أي : هو الذي لا يقدر على غفر الذنوب في الدنيا والآخرة ، إلا هو ، ومن يغفر الذنوب إلا الله ، وهو الفعال لما يشاء .
