Quran 27:5
Surah An-Naml, Verse 5

أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ ٱلَّذِينَ لَهُمْ سُوٓءُ ٱلْعَذَابِ وَهُمْ فِى ٱلْـَٔاخِرَةِ هُمُ ٱلْأَخْسَرُونَ
Word by word
أُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَ ulāika Those ٱلَّذِينَ alladhīna (are) the ones لَهُمْ lahum for them سُوٓءُ sūu (is) an evil ٱلْعَذَابِ l-ʿadhābi [the] punishment وَهُمْ wahum and they فِى fī in ٱلْـَٔاخِرَةِ l-ākhirati the Hereafter هُمُ humu [they] ٱلْأَخْسَرُونَ l-akhsarūna (will be) the greatest losers
Transliteration
Ola-ika allatheena lahum soo-oalAAathabi wahum fee al-akhirati humu al-akhsaroon
Translations
Pickthall — Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall
Those are they for whom is the worst of punishment, and in the Hereafter they will be the greatest losers.
Yusuf Ali — Abdullah Yusuf Ali
Such are they for whom a grievous Penalty is (waiting); and in the Hereafter theirs will be the greatest loss.
تفسير ابن كثير — Ismail ibn Kathir
( أولئك الذين لهم سوء العذاب ) أي : في الدنيا والآخرة ، ( وهم في الآخرة هم الأخسرون ) أي : ليس يخسر أنفسهم وأموالهم سواهم من أهل المحشر .
