Quran 29:58

Surah Al-Ankaboot, Verse 58

وَٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَعَمِلُوا۟ ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ لَنُبَوِّئَنَّهُم مِّنَ ٱلْجَنَّةِ غُرَفًا تَجْرِى مِن تَحْتِهَا ٱلْأَنْهَٰرُ خَٰلِدِينَ فِيهَا نِعْمَ أَجْرُ ٱلْعَٰمِلِينَ

Word by word

وَٱلَّذِينَ wa-alladhīna And those who ءَامَنُوا۟ āmanū believe وَعَمِلُوا۟ waʿamilū and do ٱلصَّـٰلِحَـٰتِ l-ṣāliḥāti [the] righteous deeds لَنُبَوِّئَنَّهُم lanubawwi-annahum surely We will give them a place مِّنَ mina in ٱلْجَنَّةِ l-janati Paradise غُرَفًۭا ghurafan lofty dwellings تَجْرِى tajrī flow مِن min from تَحْتِهَا taḥtihā underneath it ٱلْأَنْهَـٰرُ l-anhāru the rivers خَـٰلِدِينَ khālidīna will abide forever فِيهَا ۚ fīhā in it نِعْمَ niʿ'ma Excellent is أَجْرُ ajru (the) reward ٱلْعَـٰمِلِينَ l-ʿāmilīna (of) the workers

Transliteration

Wallatheena amanoowaAAamiloo assalihati lanubawwi-annahummina aljannati ghurafan tajree min tahtiha al-anharukhalideena feeha niAAma ajru alAAamileen

Translations

Pickthall — Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall

Those who believe and do good works, them verily We shall house in lofty dwellings of the Garden underneath which rivers flow. There they will dwell secure. How sweet the guerdon of the toilers,

Yusuf Ali — Abdullah Yusuf Ali

But those who believe and work deeds of righteousness - to them shall We give a Home in Heaven,- lofty mansions beneath which flow rivers,- to dwell therein for aye;- an excellent reward for those who do (good)!-

تفسير ابن كثير — Ismail ibn Kathir

ولهذا قال : ( والذين آمنوا وعملوا الصالحات لنبوئنهم من الجنة غرفا تجري من تحتها الأنهار ) أي : لنسكننهم منازل عالية في الجنة تجري من تحتها الأنهار ، على اختلاف أصنافها ، من ماء وخمر ، وعسل ولبن ، يصرفونها ويجرونها حيث شاءوا ، ( خالدين فيها ) أي : ماكثين فيها أبدا لا يبغون عنها حولا ( نعم أجر العاملين ) : نعمت هذه الغرف أجرا على أعمال المؤمنين .
