Quran 3:88
Surah Aal-i-Imraan, Verse 88

خَٰلِدِينَ فِيهَا لَا يُخَفَّفُ عَنْهُمُ ٱلْعَذَابُ وَلَا هُمْ يُنظَرُونَ
Word by word
خَـٰلِدِينَ khālidīna (They will) abide forever فِيهَا fīhā in it لَا lā Not يُخَفَّفُ yukhaffafu will be lightened عَنْهُمُ ʿanhumu for them ٱلْعَذَابُ l-ʿadhābu the punishment وَلَا walā and not هُمْ hum they يُنظَرُونَ yunẓarūna will be reprieved
Transliteration
Khalideena feeha layukhaffafu AAanhumu alAAathabu wala hum yuntharoon
Translations
Pickthall — Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall
They will abide therein. Their doom will not be lightened, neither will they be reprieved;
Yusuf Ali — Abdullah Yusuf Ali
In that will they dwell; nor will their penalty be lightened, nor respite be (their lot);-
تفسير ابن كثير — Ismail ibn Kathir
( خالدين فيها ) أي : في اللعنة ( لا يخفف عنهم العذاب ولا هم ينظرون ) أي : لا يفتر عنهم العذاب ولا يخفف عنهم ساعة واحدة .
