Quran 34:26

Surah Saba, Verse 26

قُلْ يَجْمَعُ بَيْنَنَا رَبُّنَا ثُمَّ يَفْتَحُ بَيْنَنَا بِٱلْحَقِّ وَهُوَ ٱلْفَتَّاحُ ٱلْعَلِيمُ

Word by word

قُلْ qul Say يَجْمَعُ yajmaʿu Will gather بَيْنَنَا baynanā us together رَبُّنَا rabbunā our Lord ثُمَّ thumma then يَفْتَحُ yaftaḥu He will judge بَيْنَنَا baynanā between us بِٱلْحَقِّ bil-ḥaqi in truth وَهُوَ wahuwa And He ٱلْفَتَّاحُ l-fatāḥu (is) the Judge ٱلْعَلِيمُ l-ʿalīmu the All-Knowing

Transliteration

Qul yajmaAAu baynana rabbunathumma yaftahu baynana bilhaqqiwahuwa alfattahu alAAaleem

Translations

Pickthall — Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall

Say: Our Lord will bring us all together, then He will judge between us with truth. He is the All-knowing Judge.

Yusuf Ali — Abdullah Yusuf Ali

Say: "Our Lord will gather us together and will in the end decide the matter between us (and you) in truth and justice: and He is the one to decide, the One Who knows all."

تفسير ابن كثير — Ismail ibn Kathir

وقوله : ( قل يجمع بيننا ربنا ) أي : يوم القيامة ، يجمع [ بين ] الخلائق في صعيد واحد ، ثم يفتح بيننا بالحق ، أي : يحكم بيننا بالعدل ، فيجزي كل عامل بعمله ، إن خيرا فخير ، وإن شرا فشر . وستعلمون يومئذ لمن العزة والنصرة والسعادة الأبدية ، كما قال تعالى : ( ويوم تقوم الساعة يومئذ يتفرقون فأما الذين آمنوا وعملوا الصالحات فهم في روضة يحبرون وأما الذين كفروا وكذبوا بآياتنا ولقاء الآخرة فأولئك في العذاب محضرون ) [ الروم : 14 - 16 ] ; ولهذا قال تعالى : ( وهو الفتاح العليم ) أي : الحاكم العادل العالم بحقائق الأمور .
