Quran 35:25

Surah Faatir, Verse 25

وَإِن يُكَذِّبُوكَ فَقَدْ كَذَّبَ ٱلَّذِينَ مِن قَبْلِهِمْ جَآءَتْهُمْ رُسُلُهُم بِٱلْبَيِّنَٰتِ وَبِٱلزُّبُرِ وَبِٱلْكِتَٰبِ ٱلْمُنِيرِ

Word by word

وَإِن wa-in And if يُكَذِّبُوكَ yukadhibūka they deny you فَقَدْ faqad then certainly كَذَّبَ kadhaba denied ٱلَّذِينَ alladhīna those who مِن min (were) before them قَبْلِهِمْ qablihim (were) before them جَآءَتْهُمْ jāathum Came to them رُسُلُهُم rusuluhum their Messengers بِٱلْبَيِّنَـٰتِ bil-bayināti with clear signs وَبِٱلزُّبُرِ wabil-zuburi and with Scriptures وَبِٱلْكِتَـٰبِ wabil-kitābi and with the Book ٱلْمُنِيرِ l-munīri [the] enlightening

Transliteration

Wa-in yukaththibooka faqad kaththabaallatheena min qablihim jaat-hum rusuluhum bilbayyinatiwabizzuburi wabilkitabi almuneer

Translations

And if they deny thee, those before them also denied. Their messengers came unto them with clear proofs (of Allah's Sovereignty), and with the Psalms and the Scripture giving light.

And if they reject thee, so did their predecessors, to whom came their messengers with Clear Signs, Books of dark prophecies, and the Book of Enlightenment.

تفسير ابن كثير — Ismail ibn Kathir

وقوله تبارك وتعالى : ( وإن يكذبوك فقد كذب الذين من قبلهم جاءتهم رسلهم بالبينات ) وهي : المعجزات الباهرات ، والأدلة القاطعات ، ( وبالزبر ) وهي الكتب ، ( وبالكتاب المنير ) أي : الواضح البين .
