Quran 36:73
Surah Yaseen, Verse 73

وَلَهُمْ فِيهَا مَنَٰفِعُ وَمَشَارِبُ أَفَلَا يَشْكُرُونَ
Word by word
وَلَهُمْ walahum And for them فِيهَا fīhā therein مَنَـٰفِعُ manāfiʿu (are) benefits وَمَشَارِبُ ۖ wamashāribu and drinks أَفَلَا afalā so (will) not يَشْكُرُونَ yashkurūna they give thanks
Transliteration
Walahum feeha manafiAAu wamasharibuafala yashkuroon
Translations
Pickthall — Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall
Benefits and (divers) drinks have they from them. Will they not then give thanks?
Yusuf Ali — Abdullah Yusuf Ali
And they have (other) profits from them (besides), and they get (milk) to drink. Will they not then be grateful?
تفسير ابن كثير — Ismail ibn Kathir
( ولهم فيها منافع ) أي : من أصوافها وأوبارها وأشعارها أثاثا ومتاعا إلى حين ، ( ومشارب ) أي : من ألبانها وأبوالها لمن يتداوى ، ونحو ذلك . ( أفلا يشكرون ) ؟ أي : أفلا يوحدون خالق ذلك ومسخره ، ولا يشركون به غيره ؟
