Surah As-Saaffaat, Verse 31

فَحَقَّ عَلَيْنَا قَوْلُ رَبِّنَآ إِنَّا لَذَآئِقُونَ
Word by word
فَحَقَّ faḥaqqa So has been proved true عَلَيْنَا ʿalaynā against us قَوْلُ qawlu (the) Word رَبِّنَآ ۖ rabbinā (of) our Lord إِنَّا innā indeed, we لَذَآئِقُونَ ladhāiqūna (will) certainly taste
Transliteration
Fahaqqa AAalayna qawlu rabbinainna latha-iqoon
Translations

Now the Word of our Lord hath been fulfilled concerning us. Lo! we are about to taste (the doom).

"So now has been proved true, against us, the word of our Lord that we shall indeed (have to) taste (the punishment of our sins).

( فحق علينا قول ربنا إنا لذائقون فأغويناكم إنا كنا غاوين ) ، يقول الكبراء للمستضعفين : حقت علينا كلمة الله : إنا من الأشقياء الذائقين العذاب يوم القيامة ،
