Quran 50:9
Surah Qaaf, Verse 9

وَنَزَّلْنَا مِنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ مَآءً مُّبَٰرَكًا فَأَنۢبَتْنَا بِهِۦ جَنَّٰتٍ وَحَبَّ ٱلْحَصِيدِ
Word by word
وَنَزَّلْنَا wanazzalnā And We have sent down مِنَ mina from ٱلسَّمَآءِ l-samāi the sky مَآءًۭ māan water مُّبَـٰرَكًۭا mubārakan blessed فَأَنۢبَتْنَا fa-anbatnā then We made to grow بِهِۦ bihi thereby جَنَّـٰتٍۢ jannātin gardens وَحَبَّ waḥabba and grain ٱلْحَصِيدِ l-ḥaṣīdi (for) the harvest
Transliteration
Wanazzalna mina assama-imaan mubarakan faanbatna bihi jannatinwahabba alhaseed
Translations
Pickthall — Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall
And We send down from the sky blessed water whereby We give growth unto gardens and the grain of crops,
Yusuf Ali — Abdullah Yusuf Ali
And We send down from the sky rain charted with blessing, and We produce therewith gardens and Grain for harvests;
تفسير ابن كثير — Ismail ibn Kathir
وقوله تعالى : ( ونزلنا من السماء ماء مباركا ) أي : نافعا ، ( فأنبتنا به جنات ) أي : حدائق من بساتين ونحوها ، ( وحب الحصيد ) وهو : الزرع الذي يراد لحبه وادخاره .
