Quran 51:35

Surah Adh-Dhaariyat, Verse 35

فَأَخْرَجْنَا مَن كَانَ فِيهَا مِنَ ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ

Word by word

فَأَخْرَجْنَا fa-akhrajnā Then We brought out مَن man (those) who كَانَ kāna were فِيهَا fīhā therein مِنَ mina of ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ l-mu'minīna the believers

Transliteration

Faakhrajna man kana feehamina almu/mineen

Then we brought forth such believers as were there.

Then We evacuated those of the Believers who were there,

تفسير ابن كثير — Ismail ibn Kathir

وقال تعالى ههنا "فأخرجنا من كان فيها من المؤمنين" وهم لوط وأهل بيته إلا امرأته.
